Beatriz Cintra is 14 and was born in Portimão. She soon fell for sailing and showed qualities that make her today one of the best in her age. Nowadays she competes in optimist for Clube Naval de Portimão. She was nominated to represent Portugal in the prestiged world competition 2017 Renaissance. As a child she won several individual and team national titles.
