Luís Costa lives in Portimão since 2009 and has been working as a Pj Inspector since 2001. In 2003 he suffered an accident which resulted with the amputation of his right leg. In 2013 he started practising para cycling and representing Sporting Club since 2015. He is a constant presence in the National team of Para cycling, he regularly represents Portugal in the World Cups and Championships and ends on the top of world rankings. He represented Portugal on the Paralympic games of Rio in 201. He was 5 times National Champion and Vice Champion of the World Cup in 2016.
