Best known as Martim, he was born in Silves, but soon found his favourite beach in Portimão- “Martim” had his first contact with surf when he was 6, maybe because his father and friends were all surfers and soon realised he was good at it, but it was only in 2008 when entering Playsurf school that he started taking it seriously and entering championships. Today, surf is a goal and a lifestyle... When you are 20 the world is at your feet and the dream of becoming a professional surfer will head his way, but only the future can tell... He has been in over 80 finals in different rankings and has participated regularly in the National Team.
